Island Ambiances invites the public to engage directly with researchers, professionals and artists through presentations, exhibitions, performances and workshops that explore how light, wind, humidity, sound and temperature shape island life. As climate pressures intensify and coastlines transform, this third edition of the CEDTI Colloquium opens an interdisciplinary space at the crossroads of geography, architecture, environmental humanities and community research. By foregrounding the sensory and experiential dimensions of island territories, the event offers a fresh lens for understanding adaptation, resilience and cultural continuity across island regions.
